An Amazing Place To Call HOME!
Cowles Mountain, Lake Murray, Mission Trail…. what brought you to live in San Carlos? So many people have fallen in love with the acres of open space & the close to nature feel that San Carlos offers to those who call this area home.
San Diego Magazine wrote about ‘The best neighborhoods to live in San Diego’ & placed San Carlos at #5! Why? I’m sure you can answer that better than anyone!
For many it’s the 1,592 feet hike up Cowles Mountain to the highest point, where on a clear day you can see out to the Coronado Islands off the coast. Many others in your neighborhood flock to Lake Murray on a Saturday morning for a bike ride with the kids, a jog around the shore of the lake followed by a picnic with the family. What about the other end of Mission Trails park, through the Mission Gorge Road pass at the Junipero Serra Trail, where a campground greets locals for good old fashion tent camping!
If you’re new here & haven’t had a chance to enjoy these things, don’t worry you have plenty of time! The Mission Trails visitor center is a great host to all of what 92119’s outdoors has to offer! Get out there & have some fun!
