The Midway Museum is at the southwest tip of the Columbia District.

The downtown San Diego condos that span Pacific Highway in this neighborhood are commonly known as Millionaire Row. These residences are something to behold.

The builds for two major hotels are currently in progress. The Columbia Tower  will have 393 rooms, over 19 stories. The Lane Field  will have 800 rooms, over 17 stories. These are excellent growth opportunities that will support the Convention Center, and bring jobs into the downtown San Diego area.

Work on the Broadway Navy Complex is also underway. Two condo projects are the Kettner and Ash, of 285 units and the Santa Fe Depot, Parcel 9, of 232 units.

Shopping for residents here is pretty convenient. There are quite a few shops in the district to the east – the Horton/ Gaslamp District in beautiful Horton Plaza. Grocery shopping is good, too. There are some specialty groceries in Little Italy directly to the north, as well as a Ralphs, Super Value, and Cost Plus in the Marina District to the south.
