Dia de los Muertos Guest Chef Dinner | Nov. 1
This year we’re inviting 8 guest chefs to join our own chef de cuisine Christine Rivera in the kitchen. We have an epic night of food and celebration planned. This event will sell out!

Escondido Día de los Muertos Festival | Nov. 1
Guests are invited to create altars to remember and honor their loved ones in a special area outside of the Center’s museum; the event also features live music, traditional Mexican fare, sugar skull decorating, and more.

SD Zoo Safari Park Día de los Muertos  | Nov. 1-4
Bring the family and join a celebration full of mariachi music, dancing, shopping, face painting, festive entertainment, and bilingual animal shows. Enjoy specialty food and beverages such as paletas, churro sundaes, margaritas and street tacos.

California’s American Indian & Indigenous Film Festival | Nov. 1-3

A ceremony recognizing veterans and military families will immediately follow.
