The CADO | June 16-Aug. 30
An immersive pop-up experience devoted to California Avocados will feature seven imaginative rooms of large-scale interactive art installations.

Lake Poway Family Campout | July 7-8 & 21-22
Activities include: guided evening hikes, campfire with s’mores, and Extreme Rahim returns with his family pleasing magic/comedy show. Remember to bring your own camping equipment, dinner supplies to barbeque, and grill/charcoal. Kiwanis club will be offering a pancake breakfast.

California State Games | July 12-15

Imperial Beach Sun & Sea Festival | July 13-14

Insect and Ladybug Festival | July 21-22
Children can practice bug collecting, hands-on insect arts and crafts, and even taste cooked mealworm larva. Entomologists and other bug experts will be available for questions.

Imperial Beach Surf Dog Competition | July 28

Solana Beach Triathlon, Duathlon, Aquabike | July 29
The surf-entry ocean swim is supported by lifeguards and swim buddies. The bike and run courses cruise down the world famous Pacific Coast Highway. Finally, a tunnel of high-fives awaits you at the finish line – a gauntlet of excitement.
