Wanting to wrap up your year with some exciting events but don’t have much cash left, well here’s a few events that you might enjoy and they won’t cost much just a smile.

Balboa Park December Nights

Christmas Story Tree, Del Cerro Baptist Church on Organ Pavilion Stage

This is an event that has been going on for 35 years opening on Friday, Dec. 6, 3-11pm, and Saturday, Dec. 7, noon-11pm, and if you go between 5-9pm museums are free admission. There’s food, activities and fun.

50th Annual Toy Parade

 December 7th, 2013, 11am – 4:30pm enjoy the wonders of the many holiday floats that this parade is offering, including on with santa.

Parade of Lights

Looking for something to light up your night then you should try the San Diego Parade of Lights on Sunday, December 8, 2013 and Sunday, December 15, 2013. Starting at 5:30 get ready to enjoy over 80 boats decorated brightly with wonderful Christmas lights.

Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego

The third Thursday for each month this museum offers free admission in their downtown and La Jolla Locations.

Ice Skating

Looking for a way to chill down why not go to the Sycuan’s Fantasy on ice. Admission cost $14 for adult and $12 for kids and the rink is open from Nov. 21 – Jan. 5
